Rocksborough Smith : ウィキペディア英語版 | Rocksborough Smith Rocksborough Remington Smith (30 November 18725 March 1955〔"Obituary Bishop Rocksborough Smith", The Times, 7 March 1955, p11, Issue 53183, col C〕) was a British Anglican bishop in the first half of the 20th century.〔The Times, 15 September 1926; p15; Issue 44377; col B, "New Bishop of Algoma"〕 Smith was born in Brighton, educated at St. Mark's College, Chelsea and Selwyn College, Cambridge and ordained in 1901.〔Crockford's Clerical Directory1947-48 Oxford, OUP,1947〕 He was a Lecturer at Ordsall Hall, Manchester then Vice-Principal of Salisbury Theological College. After this he was Principal of Clergy House, Wimbledon until 1909. He then held a similar post at the Diocesan High School for Europeans in Rangoon until 1914 when he became Vicar of Broadstone, Dorset.〔“Who was Who”1897-1990 London, A & C Black, 1991 ISBN 0-7136-3457-X〕 In 1921 he became Professor of Divinity at Bishop's University, Lennoxville.
